“We are very excited. We are very pleased to see such a shift towards PlayStation,” Gara said. “But we now need to think about the gamer, our retail partners and manage those expectations as much as possible.”
Gara said pre-orders for the PS4 are at levels Sony hasn’t seen in 20 years in the business of console gaming, and any forecast he previously provided is “now redundant and far too small.”
