SONY PLAYSTATION UNLIKELY TO SATISFY DEMANDS

According to reports , sources close to SONY have said that playstation uk team is looking to secure more ps4 units before 22nd nov launch day .according to them , it will be very difficult to satisfy ps4 demands  as release date comes closer.  the pre orderes have already surpassed their predictions.
Sony fears that if the demands are not met, their fans will turn to Xbox ONE which is also getting launched on the same day.

“We are very excited. We are very pleased to see such a shift towards PlayStation,” Gara said. “But we now need to think about the gamer, our retail partners and manage those expectations as much as possible.”
Gara said pre-orders for the PS4 are at levels Sony hasn’t seen in 20 years in the business of console gaming, and any forecast he previously provided is “now redundant and far too small.”

Sony’s Europe boss Jim Ryan told MCV-UK that PlayStation “has to do better” in the UK, a market in which the company is trying to wrestle back from Xbox

XBOX ONE ISN'T DESIGNED TO PLAY VERTICALLY

Microsoft senior director of product management and planning for Xbox, Albert Panello, announced that the company's next-gen console will not work vertically. This limitation is because of the slot based design of xbox one's disk drive.
He said We don't support vertical orientation; do it at your own risk," he said. "It wouldn't be a cooling problem, we just didn't design the drive for vertical. Because it's a slot loading drive, we just didn't design it for both."
one can still use it vertically but it will create problem with the cooling system of the drive and other consoles ps4 , wii and ps3 operates on vertically and horizontally.

CAPCOM'S DEEP DOWN FREE TO PLAY FOR PS4

Guys good news for ps4 fans , President of Sony's worldwide studios, Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed on twitter that Capcom's Deep down will be a free to play on ps4. and sony is planning to release an open beta version in february 2014.Deep Down is a third person fantasy game which includes dungeons and runs on Capcom's new Panta Rhei engine. dont forget to check the graphics of this game on the above video taken from youtube.

                                         YAHOO UNVEILS NEW LOGO

yahoo late Wednesday updates it's logo with slimmer letters but kept the trademark purple colour and exclamation points.
We wanted a logo that stayed true to our roots (purple) yet embraced the evolution of our products, "yahoo chief marketing officer Kathy savita said in a  tumblr blog post.

This is how new yahoo looks on their website and its look fresh and nice.

The internet starts new symbol  has been re designed to better reflect what the company aims to be under chief executive marina mayor, according to savita.
Mayor said to the yahoo team "didn't want to have any straight lines in the logo.  Starting html lines don't exist in the human form and are extremely rare in nature , so the human touch in the logo is that all the lines and forms all have at least a slight curve".
To build excitement about the change of the well known purple logo,  yahoo will tease us visitors with variations on the theme daily leading up to the unveiling.
